These guidelines help us make the most of our community and keep us focused on working through the course materials and meeting our goals in a safe and productive environment.

By joining the group you are acknowledging that we can count on you to keep this a safe space AND that you agree to the following community guidelines and policies:

  1. Be kind, supportive and inclusive

This is a safe, inclusive space to talk about our inner world related to parenting.

We do not tolerate hate speech, transphobia, homophobia, racism, ableism, anti-semitism, or other forms of discrimination.

When you share you share only about your own experience rather than comment on another person’s share.

We will not comment on each other’s shares, no cross talk. We will refrain from giving advice, passing judgment, or trying to fix or solve a concern another group member shares. We will simply listen.

We might not all agree on each other’s parenting styles or choices but we can be kind and supportive by listening with an open mind and heart.

  1. Keep it Yelling to Connecting

We are here to study Yelling to Connecting together, not to give general parenting advice.

Please keep shares focused on Yelling to Connecting lessons.

  1. New Members

We have new members joining every 8 weeks, please be mindful of their experience going through Yelling to Connecting for the first time.

Violation of the above rules will cause you to be removed from the group without a refund.
